Maya is a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse with over 10 years of healthcare experience. With a strong foundation in clinical nursing, including seven years at Princess Alexandra Hospital, Maya brings medical expertise, precision, and the highest standards of safety to every treatment she performs.
Holding a Diploma in Dermal Sciences along with advanced certifications in cosmetic aesthetics and laser technologies, Maya blends science with artistry to deliver results that are not only effective, but natural, balanced, and tailored to each client. Her passion lies in helping people feel their most confident through subtle, refined enhancements.
At The Skin Formula, Maya is known for her warmth, meticulous approach, and results-driven care. She takes time to understand each client’s unique skin story and designs a personalised formula that blends clinical science with aesthetic vision. With her gentle touch and eye for harmony, Maya ensures every treatment is professional, and empowering—helping clients achieve radiant skin and confidence that lasts.

Cheryl is the visionary behind The Skin Formula and co-founder of Newnham Dental & Cosmetics, bringing together her diverse expertise in communications, law, beauty therapy, and healthcare.
With a unique career spanning industries, from sales, and journalism to advanced aesthetics, and corporate law, then dental care—Cheryl’s journey has always been guided by one underlying passion: helping people feel and look their very best.
Holding a Double Degree in Communications and Law as well as a Diploma in Beauty Therapy, Cheryl began her career working as a dermal technician in a leading cosmetic skin clinic, where she specialised in advanced skin treatments and laser therapies. After several years in the aesthetics industry, she broadened her experience in corporate law before returning to healthcare, co-founding Newnham Dental & Cosmetics with her partner, Dr Mark. Together, they built a clinic with a clear vision: to combine premium dental care with cosmetic aesthetics, offering a holistic, clinical, and natural approach to both smile and skin.
For Cheryl, the connection between skin and smile is at the very heart of facial harmony. Having worked across both dental health care and skin therapies, she understands how each plays an integral role in how we present ourselves to the world. Her love for aesthetics and dedication to empowering clients has led her to establish The Skin Formula—a place where science, artistry, and personalisation come together to create radiant, confidence-building results.
Today, Cheryl continues to lead with a philosophy rooted in quality, safety, and professionalism, while remaining deeply committed to creating a warm, welcoming space where clients can discover their own personalised “formula” for beauty, balance, and confidence.
